The Surprise Rendez-Vous

After a full working life of working on-site & travelling through Europe, we
It was time for my pensioned, but busier than ever before husband to have a break.
We, as many others, had seen the ‘Place in the Sun’ episode, many years ago and had it set on both our desktops until I decided to arrange for a 10 day stay recently.
New, as it was to both of us to have a holiday in Spain, we were pleasantly surprised!
The warm welcome by Steve, Jo and the Cats, the amazing Jimi Hendrix room with its Jumbo Jet size ceiling fan so good there was no need for the available air-conditioning, never-failing supply of tea & coffee, amazing bathroom with Walk- in Duplo shower that provided powerful jets, non-interrupted (rare in most South-European accommodation).The wardrobe contained plenty of hangers and the most hanging & storing space I have ever experienced before. The four-poster bedroom with the great view, fine mattress & equally large ceiling fan. Up to the fantastic continental breakfast, fresh fruit, full English or any variation by the attentive cordial chef Steve, who never sleeps or stops moving, we are convinced both Steve & Jo are actually AI. Next to our own sunny terrace, close to the figs, lemons & apple trees en route to:
THE POOL! That marvelous salt water ‘Stones’ pool, so clean, welcoming & relaxing, complete with splendid jacuzzi. Pure decadence!

Relaxing by the well-stocked Honesty bar, accompanied by the cats, sheer heaven!
Steve’s homemade meals were fantastic, we enjoyed them every evening!
Jo’s delicious ‘Afternoon Tea’ was much loved by guests & local customers.
In short, it was hard to leave this amazing Guest house with both hard working owners, beautiful souls, always ready to please. who’d made it so easy to fall in love with it all.
We will return…its inevitable & addictive.
