We have free guest wi-fi available throughout all of the bedrooms and all other communal areas.
All rooms have air conditioning/heating and ceiling fans
All rooms have their own en suite/private bathroom
Tea & Coffee is free and is available all day
All rooms have dual lockable access, with both an internal door and direct external door
We also have an array of facilities on site for you to enjoy
PARKING
We have plentiful & free on-street parking around our Cortijo and also secure on-site parking for motorbikes, cycles and one car, be sure to let us know in advance if you need secure parking and we will endeavour to reserve a suitable space for you. We live in a very lovely neighbourhood so there´s no need to worry about parking your cars on the road, we have parked ours here for four years with no issues!
THE ROADHOUSE (DINING ROOM)
Our dining room, The Roadhouse, has a comfy sofa together with tables & chairs where you can dine, or sit and while away some time. You may also choose to listen to our 1970´s traditional jukebox full of 45rpm records with a wide selection of music starting from the 50´s and upwards
THE BALCONY
We have a lovely balcony with table and chairs for dining, or for just enjoying the South-Easterly view of the village of Arboleas together with the surrounding mountains. You can read, draw, write postcards or just feel the sunshine on your face whilst enjoying a morning coffee or enjoy the afternoon shade with a cold drink or two!
THE LITTLE BOOK NOOK
We have a dedicated Little Book Nook, with it´s cute window seat and chair, it´s a quieter space where you can pick up & peruse books or magazines, put in your headphones & listen to your favourite music or if you´re feeling creative, you can sit and write, draw or paint to your hearts content
THE MUSIC ROOM (THE 27 CLUB)
For all you music fans out there, we have a dedicated soundproofed music room, with thousands of vinyl records, cd´s, cassettes, DVD music discs and VHS music tapes. The Music Room is set up to resemble a 1970´s record store. The room is also adorned with musical memorabilia, musical instruments and a vintage hi-fi system capable of playing all the different media within. On the main wall, we pay pictorial homage to some of the unfortunate members of the 27 Club, whose talent we lost way too young
POOL, JACUZZI AND POOLSIDE
We have a 15m x 4m salt water pool complete with jacuzzi. There is no dolphin tiling in our pool, instead we have the Rolling Stones tongue! Not only that but the area around the pool is anti slip tiled and has sunbeds and a selection of tables and seating alongside
THE BAR
Help yourselves to drinks from our honesty bar. There is a selection of beers, wines, cava, soft drinks etc.. with many drinks at just €2 each. We also operate a virtual bar where you can order drinks for any location on our premises. Maybe you might wish to go into the Music Room and have a few ice cold beers to enjoy whilst in there, or you may fancy a bottle of wine whilst enjoying the views or a meal on the Balcony
THE MARQUEE
The Marquee is so named after the famous London musical venue and is in fact a building adjacent to the Bar. There are table and chairs within this building where you can choose drink or dine, or maybe you need some chilling time, or a short escape from the sun for a little while. You could also enjoy playing games or reading a book or a newspaper. There is also a communal television inside with options to watch thousands of different worldwide channels, including all the UK stations and not only can you stay in touch with your favourite soaps, you can also view live sports, see the latest films etc. and if you fancy a bit of singing, there is also a karaoke system available to use. in winter there is also a lovely cozy log burner which you can snuggle up around
SUN TERRACE
The sun terrace is a lovely space where you can stand and take in the 360 degree views. In the morning you can watch the sun rise in the East at the bottom of the valley and in the evening you can watch the sun set in the West as it dips below the hills behind our property, take a drink up there and enjoy a romantic moment or take your Yoga mat up there and enjoy your daily Sun Salutations at dawn in the open air.
THE GARDENS
You may fancy getting into a bit of shade and sitting in one of our gardens. The olive tree patio has 4 olive trees, which have been dated as being 600 years old. We have a small fruit orchard, with lemon and fig tree growing and we are currently developing a further part of the garden which will be known as Ron´s Retreat (Ron was Steve´s Dad, who was a keen gardener)
